Newsletter Week 10

HEY GUYS!

So we’re a few days away from 1st December – eek! Term is flying by and the Union has been doing loads this week; This Girl Can Week (organised by Sam - VPSA) was a great success, Amna (VPE), Tristian and I presented to University Senate (second highest decision making body in the Uni), and tickets for the Aston Aunties’ thank you meal are now live, so Aunties can grab them by clicking here.

Big thanks to Aston Cobras (Rugby) for raising over £2,000 for the Mind charity! Also, Alice (VPW) and I will be launching a safe taxi scheme quite soon, so watch this space! Finally, Christmas wish lists are on the way soon so start thinking about what you want…and preparing for January exams…argh!

Much SU Pres love, Reema

MESSAGE FROM THE ADVICE & REPRESENTATION CENTRE (ARC)

Please be aware of services advertising help with assignments and coursework.  You might see posters such as this one. If you pay a service such as this to write your assignment or “help” with it you may be committing a serious academic offence. This could result in you being removed from your course at Aston University. Don’t do it, it is cheating, the risk is high and students do get caught.

If you see any poster like this please report it to your school office, the Hub or Aston Students’ Union.

For professional advice on academic offences please contact the Advice and Representation Centre (ARC) onadvice@aston.ac.uk, 0121 204 4848
