EXEC NOMINATIONS OPEN, BEWARE EXAM POLICE, AND VOTE FOR BEST COURSE REP

Is it Week 12 or 13 or 16?? Nobody knows because you're all revising/cramming for those dreaded exams and coursework deadlines!!

Hopefully, you've all had a lovely break, been merry and celebrated the start of 2018! Now make sure you start the year with a bang! Keep hydrated, sleep/eat well for the exams. AVOID energy drinks and long, long hours in the library; you're all humans at the end of the day!

My first term as President has been amazing but elections for 18/19 are already here! If you think you can take over from me next year or know a friend who could, nominations open from Monday at www.astonsu.com/voice/elections/current/

Good luck from everyone here at the Students' Union for these next few weeks. You’ll get through them even if they’re tough right now...and remember, once it’s the end you can party/procrastinate (joke) and relax then.

Much SU love, Reems x

EXAM POLICE!

The exam police are no joke! Make sure to watch these videos so you know what NOT to do under any circumstances in your exams.

Do you think that who you are and where you are from has made your education harder? Being a NUS Poverty Commission Ambassador is about being a storyteller for their campaign. NUS believe that working class people are at a disadvantage to getting in to education, and succeeding once they are there. They need real people to share their story so that the everybody recognises this is a problem.
If you would like to get involved, please complete the form at: http://campaigns.nus.org.uk/poverty-commission-ambassador/

GIVE BLOOD

Why not give blood this year and potentially save a life!

Giving blood saves lives. The blood you give is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments.
