UCU STRIKE NEWS, ACADEMIC AWARDS AND COURSE REP OF THE MONTH

 

The University and College Union (UCU) has announced that it will be taking industrial action, which may see Aston University staff, who are members of UCU, striking for up to 14 days (staggered over four weeks), with the first day set for the 22nd February.

Aston Students’ Union, as a student-led organisation, consulted with our members to determine the Union’s response to this action. Click here for details of our response

Your Leadership Race Elections are about to start,  with only 1 week to go until voting opens. Here is what you need to know:

Monday 19th Feb (Noon) – Candidates' names released

Thursday 22nd Feb (09:00) – Voting open at www.astonsu.com/vote/
