What's this all about?
January Welcome is one of the BUSIEST and most exciting time during the university term time, a fun-packed period filled with meeting new people, settling into new environments, and celebrating the start of your university journey!
From your very first day, we’re here to help you feel at home; from finding lifelong friends, to hanging out with your friends at one of our exciting events or trying something you never thought you would, we have plenty to keep you busy.
Activities have looked quite different over the last few years, due to the pandemic. But after being back in action for over a year, we’re prepping for an awesome January Welcome geared to surpass expectations! We are at the heart of student life in Birmingham and we want to make sure you have every opportunity to get to know the city around you, make friends, memories and ensure you kick off your time at Aston University in the best way possible.

This January Welcome...
Our designer has taken our students' interests to heart and created the theme around January Welcome with you in mind! The theme this year is Games, which is why the shapes on a controller have been used to represent each personality mascot! The personality mascots include: the Scholar, the Creative, the Competitor and the Reveller. Scroll down to find out more!
