A Welcome Event Evening consisting of the following important time slots:

 

 

18:00 – 18:30:

 

Allowing people to arrive and to be served refreshments.

Allowing attendees to mingle and chat to each other and to the Committee.

 

18:30 – 19:00:

 

Committee broadcasting Introduction/Welcome Presentation and answers FAQ’s.

Committee introducing our main sponsor for the year. An Enterprise (our Sponsor) will also be in attendance to give a couple of words of encouragement for the girls attending.

 

19:00 – 21:00:

 

Showing the Romantic-Comedy film ‘Mean Girls’ on the projector.

 

21:00 – 22:00:

 

Allowing time for people to leave and for Committee to clean up.

 

Additonal Information:

Entry Requirements:

Attendees will be informed that wearing a piece of clothing or an accessory that is the colour pink is compulsory for entry. 

Decor:

  • AWB photo-wall set up: including helium standing balloons spelling ‘AWB’, funny photo masks,
  • Printed images of previous AWB events dotted around the room
  • Balloons around the room
  • Bespoke pink decor pieces dotted around the walls
  • ‘Girl Bar’ : 2 tables joined with a single-use pink tablecloth, where refreshments will be served by Committee. Will require the purchase of pink paper cups and straws for drinks and pink popcorn bags for snacks.
