With the festive season just around the corner, many of you are getting ready to relax, recharge, and enjoy a well-earned break. Before we all head off for the holidays, we want to make sure you’re fully prepared for our winter closure and aware of the support available to you while we’re away. Here’s everything you need to know to help you feel informed and supported throughout the break.

To help you plan ahead, here are the important dates for our winter closure:
Last Day Open: Friday, 19th December 2025
Reopening: Monday, 5th January 2026
During this period, the SU building will be closed, including all services such as Aston Student Advice, Aston Student Homes, Student Activities, the Union Shop, Chaiiwala, and all our social spaces. While our doors may be shut for a short while, we still want you to have access to support wherever you're spending the holiday season.
