With a choir, orchestra, big band, and pianos available to play, the society has plenty to offer.

Want to play music and meet like-minded people? Then the Aston University Music Society is for you!
We have a Choir, Band, and Orchestra that rehearse every week.
For pianists and percussionists out there we have two grand pianos, two upright pianos, a Clavinova and a drum kit for your use. So there really is something for everyone!
Whether you are an experienced musician, fancy doing something different or want to start performing, then come along!
Our Social Membership to be part of the society is only £2, for this, you can join our social events and stay in touch with what we get up to. For £13 you will be able to use our pianos, drum kit and practice rooms in the Main Building. Our full membership at £15 grants you all of that, plus allows you to join any or all of our weekly ensembles!
We hold concerts at the end of terms one and two to showcase the talents and hard work of our members, giving you the chance to play and sing, whether as part of one of our ensembles or as a solo artist. Members of Band can take part in local gigs in Birmingham at pubs and open mics, so there are lots of opportunities for musicians of all skill levels to perform.
So if you want a society where you can:

- Perform at our concerts, societies’ balls, and other events
- Develop your musical ability either as an individual or part of an ensemble
- Attend fun socials not just focused on drinking

CHOIR - Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm (G8)
