Welcome to Aston’s Create ‘n Cosy society!

We’ve now been running for three years and have been growing our community, we’re proud to say we even won Society of the Year 2025 (woohoo!!).

If you’re someone with tons of hobbies or someone who wants to explore cute new activities, Create ‘n Cosy is made for you!!!

We’ve spent the past few years building a warm, relaxing space for all students, offering a range of events to unwind with. Whether you want to chill, get crafty, or enjoy our wholesome movie and game nights, we’ve got something for everyone. 

Our purpose remains the same: to create a friendly & cosy atmosphere where students can escape uni stress and enjoy wholesome vibes. (∩o∩)

Over the last two years we’ve hosted tons of cute events (check out our insta reels!), starting from our first ever indoor picnic all the way to collaborations with small businesses. Some of our regular activities include:

*Crafternoons – Painting, decorating, candle painting etc. 

*Movie and game nights – K-dramas, Studio Ghibli, anime. 

*Workshops – Crocheting, jewellery making, flower bouquet making etc.

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2025

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
