The Green

The SU also offers accommodation at The Green. The residences comprise of 52 terraced houses that have been modernised and converted into 60 apartments with free on street parking available to all residents. The area is monitored by CCTV with good lighting.

Aston Student Homes

Accommodation support service called Aston Student Homes who advertise a wide choice of properties throughout Birmingham to help Aston University students find good quality private accommodation from landlords who meet ASH Standards.

Emergency Housing Support

Shelter

For expert advice regarding your contract and housing rights, visit Shelter’s online advice pages which have online resources accessible 365 days a year. They also have an emergency helpline if you have nowhere to sleep tonight or are at risk of harm or abuse in your home.

SIFA Fireside

SIFA Fireside who offer support and services for vulnerably housed and homeless adults in Birmingham. Visitors to the Drop In are able to access food, showers and clothing as well as a range of support services dealing with physical and mental health and different aspects of everyday well-being.

SIFA Fireside Drop In Times:

Drop in sessions run Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 12:45pm.

Monday - Friday: Breakfast is served between 9am - 10am, Lunch is served between 12pm - 12:45pm

Saturday & Sunday: Not open currently

Emergency Accomodation Advice: 9am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
