So just what is Aston Kayak all about? Aston Kayak is a well established whitewater kayaking club, running 4 weekend trips in the UK alongside multiple day trips to artifical whitewater centres. The final trip of the year is always 10 day international tour each year just after summer exams!
With a substantial amount of club kit we are able to accomodate newcomers to the sport easily, safely and with minimal personal expenditure.
As well as trips, we run 1 training session each week, passing on the skills from one year to another to help both on the river and for the future of the club. Our club is full of friendly and enthusiastic faces ready to welcome anyone who shares a passion for this awesome sport.
To round it all off, we finish our weekly pool sessions with a trip to the pub, with a bunch of nights out and fun socials organised regularly by our social sec throughout the year.

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
