The Vietnamese Society at Aston University, in collaboration with Vietnamese Societies from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, and Coventry University, is hosting Tet Gieo Duyen 2026 – a Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration for students and members of the wider community of all nationalities.
Taking place at the intersection of Lunar New Year and Valentine’s season, the event blends traditional Tet values with themes of connection, friendship, and affection. It provides an inclusive and welcoming space for attendees from diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate, connect, and experience Vietnamese Lunar New Year together.
The event will feature Vietnamese cultural booths, traditional lunar new year food, interactive activities, and photo spaces, offering an engaging and immersive cultural experience for everyone.
