The Aston Iranian Society will be hosting a Nowruz gathering to welcome the Persian New Year.
We recognise that recent events in Iran have made this a difficult time for many, and that many of us will be starting the new year away from our families. This gathering is a chance for our community to come together, honour our traditions, and spend the first evening of the new year in a warm and supportive environment.
The evening will feature elements of Persian culture such as a Haft-Sin display, music, poetry, and time to connect with fellow students, along with light refreshments.
Everyone is warmly invited to attend, and you are welcome to bring a small snack or drink to share if you wish.
We hope you can join us as we welcome the new year together.
