Welcome to Aston Economics & Finance Society

Aston Economics & Finance Society is a student-led academic society for those interested in economics, finance, business and current affairs. Re-founded in 2023, our society aims to support students through career-focused events, networking opportunities, practical workshops and socials.

We work to help members build confidence, develop employability skills and connect with students who share similar academic and professional interests.

Membership

Membership is £3.50 and gives members access to society updates, events and opportunities, often for free or at a discounted rate.

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2026-2027

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
