Aston Winter Village is an event organised to celebrate Aston and the conclusion of term 1. All Aston students, staff, as well as their families and friends, are warmly invited to join and partake in delightful moments on our university campus. There is no age restrictions for the events during this week.

Aston Winter Village will be active from 11 am to 9 pm. Additional activities will be taking place throughout the day, so stay informed by following us @aston_su.

From the 11th to the 15th of December, there is a plethora of activities. Immerse yourself in Christmas-styled markets featuring diverse food and craft vendors outside the SU building. Experience captivating performances by Aston students and clubs on the stage. For those seeking a more laid-back atmosphere, explore indoor activities such as gingerbread and tree decorations within the SU building. You can access all the event information here

Aston Winter Village is hosted on Aston University Campus, and some indoor activities in your Students’ Union building.

All the events promoted are free of charge for Aston students and staff. This week is curated to celebrate the conclusion of the term. However, some vendors will be offering their products like food or crafts for which you will be charged.

We will be accepting cashless payments only, so ensure you have your card or Apple Pay ready.

Aston is renowned for its diverse community. While many events have a similar there, this week is dedicated to celebrating Aston itself, placing emphasis on the community rather than just the festival. Anticipate food vendors, performances, and activities representing various cultures.

We are diligently working to ensure the event is as inclusive as possible. Should you notice any discrepancies, please inform us, and we will prioritise resolving them.

An amphitheatre is available for relaxation, and in case the weather turns chilly, a marquee set up is going to be present for your comfort. The SU building will also be open during the event where you’ll find many spaces for seating.

Regrettably, flames will not adorn the lake. However, revel in the splendid tunnel of light setup and illuminated reindeer for exceptional photo opportunities just around our lake area.

We take into account all dietary needs when selecting vendors and strive to offer a variety of options. Allergen information will be prominently displayed outside each food stall.
