Aston University Dance Club is one of the largest student-led performing arts clubs on campus. The club provides classes in a variety of styles, with the main focus on Hip-Hop, Commercial and Contemporary. Our classes are aimed at people of all abilities from beginners to advanced dancers and comprises of routine choreography, body conditioning, and performance. We cater our club to individuals who want to try something new and those who want to keep active whilst at university.
Every year we enter Loughborough University Dance Competition, the UK's biggest inter-university dance competition. In 2023 we were awarded 1st place in the intermediate Hip-Hop category, making us National Champions, as well as placing 2nd at Gloucester University Dance Competition in intermediate contemporary (a first in AUDC history)!
We're passionate about making the AUDC a fun, safe space for people of all backgrounds, cultivating friendships and engaging with other clubs and societies to cater to your needs!
