About Us

We are the biggest mixed club on campus with some of the best performing teams, and the best performing socials!

WELCOME to Aston University Hockey Club!

We are the biggest mixed club on campus with great performing teams and best performing socials!

 

PLAYING

AUHC currently have 2 playing teams; 1 Men’s XI and 1 Women’s XI. Both teams compete in BUCS leagues where we play against other universities in the midlands. BUCS matches are played on Wednesdays throughout the season. 

TRAINING is at 6pm-8pm on Monday evenings at Aston recreational centre. We have players from all abilities and backgrounds – from National league to first time players, everyone is welcome so if you’re having doubts pick up a stick and come along, we don’t bite!

ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOME AT AUHC. 

SOCIAL

You don't have to play to be invloved (you can buy a social only membership). Don’t miss out on the best socials on campus! We are the only club that hold a mixed ‘sesh’ week in week out, an amazing way meet new people and make friends for life.

We also host the best parties on campus, organise 2 massive bar crawls, go on day trips, summer tour abroad and in the UK and many more social events throughout the year.

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2026-2027

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
