Aston Snow Club – Aston University’s largest club!

Whether you're a hardcore seasonaire with years of skiing or snowboarding under your belt or a complete novice itching to learn or anywhere in between, Aston Snow Club is the club for you!!

Membership is only £35 this year, and as one of the biggest and cheapest clubs on campus, there is no reason not to join.

As mentioned before Aston Snow Club is one of the university's BIGGEST clubs! This means huge parties and more mates than you can shake a ski at! You don't even have to ski/board to join! If you just want to party, our social members get access to the huge socials that the club puts on each term along with access to all of our sponsor's discounts and deals. Plus so much more!!

Kicking off the 2026/27 season:

• Freshers Fair – Come find us on campus on the 15th! Look out for our gazebo to sign up, meet the committee and ask any questions.
• Taster Sessions – Details confirmed the week after Freshers Fair. These will be completely free for anyone interested, no experience needed!
• Lessons at the Snowdome – Weekly lessons at Tamworth Snowdome return, with pricing confirmed at launch (right after the taster sessions).
• The Tour – Following on from last season's incredible trip to La Plagne with BrumSki, something's in the works for this season... watch this space for details!
• Race Training & Competitions – Weekly race training at Swadlincote, with the club potentially competing in AJam and BUCS this year!

Not a Skier or Snowboarder but want to learn? We offer lessons at Tamworth Snowdome every week. If you can already ski/board, you can join us for an hour at Tamworth too! Plus there are plenty of other opportunities in the works with monthly competitions in the region and nationally.

Also come and join us every Wednesday for a class night on the town, where we will be frequenting the best clubs Birmingham has to offer with all other Aston Sports clubs and dressing up to a theme of a sports club's choosing.

We also hopefully have some more events and maybe even some freestyle in the works with Brumski which you don't want to miss out on!

Since establishing AfterJam in late 2016 they have quickly cemented theirselves not only in the wardrobes of any aspiring steeze merchant, but also in the snowsports calendar. They annually host the UK's largest snowsports competition, it's been growing year on year, with no intention of stopping any time soon.

Managing to bring together all the elements of the grassroots scene is a rare feat, that, coupled with probably the wildest après you're going to stumble across in a Winter makes it such a success. Over the last 3 years they have welcomed artists such as DJ Hazard, Darkzy & Redlight, so if you're keen to get involved, head up to the event tickets section up top, where you can also learn more about Europe's largest freestyle camp!
