The Mechanical Engineering Society brings together students from all year groups to support academic success, professional growth, and a strong sense of community. We aim to enrich the student experience through skills development, industry engagement, and inclusive social opportunities, while representing the voice of Mechanical Engineering students at Aston University.

Mechanical Engineering Society Elections 2026/27

These elections fall under the Students’ Union election regulations and rules. In addition to these regulations and rules you must adhere to all Aston University and Aston Students’ Union policies as well as the law of the land. By submitting your nomination(s) for any role(s) in this election you are automatically agreeing to your; name, uploaded photograph and any visual or written manifesto/statement to be used in publicity, press releases and other marketing activity for Activities Elections. You also agree for your contact information to be used by Students' Union staff to contact you regarding your candidacy in this election.

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2026-2027

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
