Welcome to Aston University Music Society! We are the society for people who want to learn to play, practice and perform. At Aston University. All types of music styles and abilities welcome.

With multiple weekly events and rehearsals what are you waiting for. 

Forgot to bring your instrument to uni that's okay we have 

  • 2 grand pianos
  • 2 upright pianos 
  • 2 drum kits
  • 1 electric guitar
  • 1 Acoustic guitar 
  • 1 electric piano
  • Multiple ukuleles 
  • Percussion instruments 
  • And more for you to use and borrow. 

We have a 24HR practice room that contains some of this equipment for you to use.

If you choose to buy membership you will need to collect a membership card to be able to access this room to collect a membership card use the links below to contact us.

Rehearsals (undergrad term time only)

 BAND - Mondays 7-9pm 

ORCHESTRA - Tuesdays 7-9pm 

CHOIR - Mondays 5:00-7:00pm

Student Activities Executive Committee Elections 2026-2027

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
