Culture Connect seeks to create an inclusive and welcoming community that celebrates cultural diversity and meaningful connections between students from around the world. We aim to support international students and students from diverse cultural backgrounds by creating a “home away from home,” where individuals can build friendships, share experiences, and learn from one another. Through cultural events, social activities, and opportunities for intercultural exchange, we strive to promote understanding, respect, and collaboration across cultures. In addition, the society seeks to contribute positively to both the university and the wider city by encouraging community engagement and volunteering initiatives that strengthen connections beyond campus.

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2025/26. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by the Students' Union Council.
