This is the Event Resources section where you will find all the information that you need in order to host an event. The event, regardless of it's nature, needs to be requested and approved by the Student Activities Team. Below are all the relevant forms that you will need in order to put on an event as a Society or Sports Club. All forms are to completed and then submitted to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
An event request form must be completed before you host any activities as a club or society. The form should be completed as far in advance of the event as possible and submitted to Student Activities for approval at email@example.com.
In order to have any external speakers at your events you need to fill out the External Speaker form. This form must be completed and submitted at least 7 days before your event is due to take place to allow sufficient time for approval by the Union and by University Security. If you do not receive confirmation of approval, you must not have an external speaker at your event.

If you are having any external catering at your event, you will need to complete the below form. We also ask that you provide us with a food hygiene certificate and public liability insurance for the company you are using.
When organising a large event, you will need to complete a Large Event Financial Plan. This must be completed in the early stages of planning your event.
