Welcome to Aston TKD!
Aston TKD brings together students of all abilities to learn Taekwon-Do, develop self-defence skills, improve fitness and build confidence. Join us and challenge yourself!
What is Taekwon-Do?
Taekwon-Do is a dynamic Korean martial art that combines powerful kicks, fluid movements, and self-discipline. It teaches self-defence while improving physical fitness, flexibility and mental resilience.
Who can join?
Anyone! Taekwon-Do welcomes all genders, ages, sizes and fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced martial artists.
What will you gain?
Build confidence, develop new skills and improve your fitness in a fun, supportive environment. Make lasting friendships, relieve stress and become part of a community where you can challenge yourself and reach your potential!
Training Details:
Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 19:00 to 21:00, at Studio 2 (Woodcock Sports Centre, Aston University)
Sessions are pay-as-you-go, costing £4 per session, paid via contactless at training.
Startup price:
£10 Taekwondo Membership
£15 Athletic Union Membership (purchased alongside the club membership; only needs to be bought once for any sports club you join)
Annual insurance (price TBC- approx. £25)
(Overall, roughly a £50 startup price)
If you haven't tried TKD with us before, your first session will be free, after which you'll need to purchase our membership!
