It doesn’t take height to reach the top. Join Aston Phoenixes now and together we’ll climb to the top with those experienced and new. You may play in the league or recreational sessions, but you will be playing with friends. Dig, Set, Spike, and make your 3 step approach towards volleyball.
We are inviting you to join the Aston University Volleyball Club (AUVC)! We are a big club with more than 150 members, and we aim make friends and play volleyball! We welcome everyone, from beginners to more experienced players, and offer coached training sessions both for women's team and men's team.
Recreational Sessions:
- Tuesday 19:00 - 20:30 - Social Drills Session (Hall 1)
- Thursday 16:00 - 18:00 - Recreational Session (Hall 2)

Our club is also competing in the BUCS League. So you have a chance to play for the university and compete against other teams from around the UK!
Beyond BUCS we will be promoting large scale volleyball events and inter-university tournaments using our HEVO links with other universities across the country.
Aston Men's 1 is coached by Dan Mrowiec and are currently in the Men's Midlands Tier 2.
