Aston Students’ Union Election Results 2019
This year’s Students’ Union elections are over, and the results are in! Voting in the elections took place from 9AM on Monday 11th March to 12PM on Friday 15th March. Candidates campaigned all over campus, on social media, in videos, during lecture shout-outs, and more, and achieved a record-breaking result for democracy at Aston.
In total, 2449 students cast their votes, with a total of 19348 votes cast. Turnout was 16.7%.
This is the joint-highest turnout ever in the Students’ Union elections, and broke some previous records:
