Aston University Labour Society (AULS) is one of Aston's longest running politics and most successful societies. Whether you're a Labour Party supporter or not, everyone with progressive politics is welcome. We aim to be a tolerant, inclusive and constructive space to encourage students' political participation and awareness.
Most of all though, AULS is a vibrant space to meet other students and socialise in a friendly environment. We hold a range of events to do with politics, from book clubs to movie nights and we get members connected with political events outside of campus like protests, rallies, canvassing sessions or organising schools. Politics aside, we also hold regular socials to just meet and chill out.
Make sure to check out our social media too to engage with our members and events!

This is to elect the Student Activities Executive Committee for the academic year 2024/25. Bye-law 7 states that Student Activities elected committee is a standing committee of Union Council. With that in mind it would be standard practice that the Student Activities Executive Committee must be approved by council.
2 posts are up for election.
Nominations are now closed.
The polls are open and will close at 10:00 on Monday 11 November 2024 (in 11 hours)
