ASTON FINANCE AND TRADING SOCIETY

The new and revamped Aston Finance and Trading Society (AFTS) is a student-led society aiming at giving valuable information to our members, about how things really work in the financial sector and what trading and investing involves.

As a member you can look forward to:

  • Being in an educational and sociable environment where you can gain exposure, and develop analytical insights of the effect of changing fundamental macroeconomic factors and decisions on financial markets.
  • Practically transferring classroom-knowledge to analyse markets, and the development of additional complimentary technical and soft skills.
  • Improving your employability, being part of a network of traders and analysts; and also through career advice workshops, and networking events with alumni and industry experts.
