YOU CAMPAIGN.

YOU CAMPAIGN.

You might be tempted to 'eat, sleep and breathe' the campaign, but the most important thing is to look after your own wellbeing, and to take care of yourself throughout this journey.

Remember, the point is to have fun and creatively show who you are to your peers.

LEARN MORE

I’ve had experience running in the officer elections twice and although I didn’t win the experience was fun and I learnt and developed some great skills!

One of the main skills I developed was confidence.
Later, in my job interview I was able to give many examples of engaging with students through elections which utilmately helped me to gain my current role! I look back on the election week fondly and made new friends who I still catch up with now.

During my time as an Aston student, I ran in both the autumn and spring Aston Students’ Union elections.

During elections I got the chance to learn about the important role the SU plays for Aston students. I learned a lot about myself too. It is important to ask for help, have support from friends and stay organized. Do YOUR best and make the most of your experience.
