In addition to recognition on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR - unfortunately, this is only for Undergraduate students), we run a tiered recognition system to recognise the hard work that Student Reps put in over the year. This means that Reps can be awarded Bronze, Silver or Gold recognition at the end of the year. The criteria for these awards are:
Bronze:
- Successfully complete Mandatory Student Rep Training
- Attend 1 SSC meeting
- Attend 1 Union Senate meeting
- Attend 1 Union Council meeting
Silver:
- Successfully complete Mandatory Student Rep Training + 1 additional session
- Attend 2 SSC meetings
- Attend 2 Union Senate meetings
- Attend 2 Union Council meetings
- Gather feedback
- Follow up on SSC actions
Gold:
- Successfully complete Mandatory Student Rep Training + all additional training sessions
- Attend 3 SSC meetings
- Attend 2 Union Senate meetings
- Attend 3 or more Union Council meetings
- Gather feedback
- Follow up on SSC actions
- Conduct research
