What is onecity?
Onecity is a group that brings together the Student Leaders from five Students' Unions in the Birmingham area.
These Unions include:
officers
The full-time officers from each of the five unions regularly get together to network and discuss matters that affect student across the city. This someone then means that a number of officers work of projects or campaigns that are wider that one union but are oncity.
onecity rep conference
Since 2015 the group has also run a Student Rep Conference each year. This conference brings together 30 Student Reps from each of the five unions for a 1 day conference where they can:
- hear from guest speakers
- participate in a range of knowledge and skills sessions
- network with reps from other Students' Unions
All sessions and content relates to the role of Student Reps and is there to inspire and support those who attend in their roles as Student Reps.
