On the 20th of September 2017, the students' union will be hosting the annual ASTONBURY, but this year you can expect even more excitement.

First up we have Goldierocks, AKA Sam Hall, she is an international DJ and broadcaster with a celebrity following that includes Madonna, Giorgio Armani, Richard Branson and Jade Jagger (she's performed exclusively for them all).

Her weekly global radio show 'The Selector', legendary to those in the know, goes out to a staggering 44 countries; from Vietnam to Russia to Palestine, with Georgia and Libya being the most recent additions to the list. With 4.3 million dedicated weekly listeners, The Sunday Times has described it as "the most cutting-edge British music show out there."

Next up we have MR.B,

Mr.B began his Chap-Hop career in the summer of 2007 when he decided to bring elements of his previous incarnations (UK rapper, jump-up breaks producer, banjolele maverick and dandy) together and create a genre.

His videos have garnered millions of view on YouTube and his media appearances have included Rapping for Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight, playing live on BBC Radio One for Rob Da Bank, Nick Grimshaw and Scott Mills, on Radio Two for Claudia Winkleman and Steve Lamacq, 6Music for Tom Robinson and Shaun Kenaveny and for Zoe Ball on Sky Arts. He was also once the front page of the Wall Street Journal and was described by the Daily Mail as ‘Controversial’.

Next up we have Too Many T's

Known for their high-energy live show which has seen them support De La Soul, Public Enemy and Big Daddy Kane. Too Many T’s present their debut LP ‘South City’, an album of consummate skill and emotional depth.

It’s one thing to make people think with a record. It’s another to make people laugh with one. But to do both, with the same body of work, is something truly special.

Next up we have the Original Dodger

Even if you’ve just got a casual knowledge of UK garage, you’ve probably heard Artful Dodger. The Southhampton-based duo of Mark Hill and Pete Devereux hit the big time with ‘Re-Rewind’, a track that solidified garage’s place in UK pop history and gave a young Craig David his first breakout hit.

The duo split in 2001 and signed the name away, so the Artful Dodger moniker was passed on. Now, Hill and Devereux are making their long overdue return as Original Dodger, with new single ‘Millionaire’ and a mixtape, Soundtrack, that’s set to feature up-and-coming Brit talents like Avelino and Nadia Rose alongside grime bonafide P Money, Big Narstie and more.
