Hello All, 

We know that the ongoing cost of living crisis is affecting many students; in particular those from low income backgrounds.

That's why, together with Aston University, we continue to implement new support packages which will ease the financial burden of many students and we are doing everything possible to support our students during these difficult times. 

It brings me great joy to announce that the University have generously released an additional funding of £240,000 to subsidise bus transport cost for eligible Aston Students.

The funding aims to help students who are most in need of financial support and reduce the impact of the cost of living crisis. This additional funding has swiftly been released since the start of January 2023.

Students who are eligible for the free bus pass will be able to claim back £10 from their monthly bus pass until the end of June. If you are eligible you will recieve an email from Aston University. Please make sure you check your emails regualarly to stay updated.
