*Adele’s voice* Hello, it’s me.

I hope you have all been good, and are taking care of yourselves. It’s coming to the end of the term, and I have so much to tell you! Let’s just dive straight into it. As Christmas is approaching fast, I just wanted to ask whether you have seen the SA Christmas Dinner put together by our amazing SA Exec? Buy your ticket with your friends, and come along and be festive with your Union.

That’s the fun part, but if you aren’t aware…Union Council is around the corner *Woohoo* Save the date: Tuesday 27th November. This is a chance for you all to come along and see what the union is up to, hold your officers accountable (because you are all essentially our bosses) and just get involved in discussions. You can email your questions beforehand if you can’t make it as well. We also have free pizza most times *fingers crossed*.

I hope to see some of you beautiful people there!

Lots of love from Amna xoxo

Aston Students’ Union (ASU) is looking for motivated and talented students to become trustees!

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in one of Birmingham’s biggest and most exciting charities.

“Trustee boards don’t do, they ensure things get done”.
As an ASU trustee, you’ll be part of a team of up to 12 other board members including officers, external alumni and students. You will ensure the organisation is well-run, help to manage finance and strategy, and see that the Students’ Union achieves its charitable aims.

Say no to hate!

Vigil is the last even of Islamophobia Awareness Month.
In memory of those who lost their lives due to Islamophobic attacks, we are coming together as a community to say NO to all hate!

This week Aston hosted the Day of GO! to promote the crowdfunding platform, attract more projects and spread greater awareness of the possibilities with this type of fundraising.

During the day there were a lot of great live events going on and students had a chance to interact with alumni that were visiting Aston!
