Newsletter #7

Hiya everyone!

Congratulations on finishing your exams. I’m sure you all did well, and I hope all your hard work pays off.

Also, welcome to all our new students who joined the Aston family this January!

Lots of love from Amna xoxo

Do you have what it takes to run the Students’ Union (SU) for a year?

Nominations for this year’s Students’ Union elections are now open.

Next academic year, a new team of four full-time officers and ten part-time officers will lead Aston Students’ Union. They’ll be the first group of Officers to start their term in the brand new SU building. One of those students could be you!

Full-time Officer roles are a great opportunity if you’re looking for a placement or a grad job – you’ll be paid around £18.5k for the year – and part-time roles are an awesome way to get experience of running an organisation alongside your studies.

If you’d like to take part, click here and submit your nomination!

Do you know someone who would make a great Students’ Union Officer?

Go to to find out more about the roles available, or email if you’d like to talk to someone at the SU about the roles or the elections.
