As you all know, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games are fast approaching which means the city is going to see a greater number of visitors and so will the university campus.

As a result, Aston University and Unite Accommodation have agreed to host about 1,000 police officers on campus from 20th July to 10th August. This is to ensure greater levels of security during the event.

We understand that heightened police presence on campus may be a concern to some students. Please be reassured that your safety is our top priority and should you feel worried or anxious about this, please get in touch with our student advice team by contacting advice@aston.ac.uk
