9.2 UC202411: Motion - Introduction of a Create Space at Aston University

Key Issues:

• Growing demand for creative spaces to support student self-expression, artistic growth, and entrepreneurial activities.

Beliefs:

• A Creative Space will bridge technical and creative disciplines, foster collaboration, enhance student skills, and promote well-being.
• It will strengthen community, boost innovation, and enhance the university’s reputation as a forward-thinking institution.

Proposal:
Approve and establish a multifunctional Creative Space to empower students and staff while addressing diverse creative and academic needs.
