With Astonbury coming up on 09th June, we wanted to touch base with some essential guidelines to ensure a memorable and safe experience for all participants. Your co-operation in adhering to these policies is greatly appreciated.

 

Happy and Safe Event for You:

Our primary goal is to create an environment that fosters happiness and safety for everyone involved. We encourage you to enjoy the event to the fullest while respecting the following guidelines.

 

No Outside Alcohol:

In compliance with our campus regulations and to maintain a safe environment, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing your own alcoholic beverages to the event. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from authorised vendors during the event.

 

University Disciplinary Policy:

As this event is taking place on campus premises, we strictly adhere to the university's disciplinary policy. Any behaviour that violates campus rules or disrupts the peaceful atmosphere will be dealt with accordingly.

 

Right to Deny Entry:

The event organisers reserve the right to deny entry to any individual at their discretion. This decision may be based on various factors, including but not limited to, capacity restrictions, inappropriate behaviour, or failure to comply with event guidelines.

 

Use of Facilities:

We have made adequate arrangements for your comfort and convenience, including restroom facilities. Please use these facilities responsibly and maintain cleanliness in the designated areas. Portable toilets (Port-a-loos) will be available on-site for your use. Please utilise these facilities responsibly and help us maintain cleanliness throughout the event.

 

Zero Tolerance towards Anti-Social Behaviour:

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of anti-social behaviour, harassment, vandalism, or disruptive actions. Such actions will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the event, followed by appropriate disciplinary action.

 

Nitrous Oxide: Strict Prohibition:

The use of nitrous oxide or any other illicit substances is strictly prohibited at the event. Any individual found in possession or under the influence of such substances will be immediately escorted out, and further consequences may apply.

 

Responsible Behaviour:

We kindly request that you practice responsible behaviour during the event. This includes disposing of litter properly, respecting the natural environment surrounding the venue, such as the lake and its inhabitants, and refraining from any actions that may cause harm or discomfort to others.

 

Dealing with Illegal Activity:

Any illegal activity observed during the event will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities. We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies, and any individual engaging in illegal activities will be held accountable according to the law.

 

We sincerely appreciate your attention to these guidelines and your commitment to making this event a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Let's create lasting memories while maintaining respect for each other and our campus environment.
