It's official - our Wellbeing Department has hit the one-year mark!

At Aston SU, we've been working hard to bridge the gap between student lifestyle, academic performance, and the overall student experience. That's why we launched the Wellbeing Department a year ago!

A Year of Wellbeing Transformation

Over the past 365 days, our dedicated team has been on a mission to elevate the well-being of our students. We've introduced a range of initiatives, including Free Breakfast, Arts and Crafts sessions, and invigorating Wellbeing Walks - all designed to make a significant impact on our students' lives.

But there's something exciting we'd like you to meet - 'Mello,' our Wellbeing Mascot, here to provide support on your wellbeing journey.

Mello isn't just a mascot; Mello is your companion on this journey towards well-being, To stay updated on Mello's adventures and access well-being support, follow Mello on Instagram @Mello_asu!

A Growing Team, A Stronger Commitment

Our Wellbeing Coordinator closely collaborates with the Vice President of Welfare to champion welfare initiatives across our campus community. And we're thrilled to announce the latest addition to our team, the Wellbeing and Welcome Desk Assistant - a valuable asset to our growing department.

The Wellbeing Coordinator, Natalie James, said "Aston Students’ Wellbeing is committed to helping students thrive in their academic journey and overall wellbeing. We believe that happiness and belonging are essential ingredients for success, and we are dedicated to providing students with the resources and support students need to live healthy, balanced lives".

Stay tuned for exciting upcoming events and initiatives from our Wellbeing Department as we continue to celebrate and prioritise student well-being!
